About The Event

DESTINATION HIKE WAIVER <-------- MUST READ AND AGREE TO TERMS BEFORE ATTENDING ANY DESTINATION HIKE EVENT.

This is our FINAL "So You Think You Can Hike" event for the year. Make sure you join us!

Do you want to kick it up a notch and test your endurance, strength, stamina, and/or mental toughness? If so, this hike series is for you. Each season we will pick a different trail specifically for it's length, difficulty, or incline.  Don't doubt yourself, YOU CAN DO IT. However, you must be self aware of your capabilities. In the registration for each trail, you will see information regarding what physical or mental attribute was considered when picking the trail.

This series of hikes are not for beginner hikers. You need to have some previous hiking expirence to attend these hikes.

*** For the safety of all participants, exact location and trail will only be provided to those who register****

How to Prepare:

1. Eat a solid breakfast. Do not arrive hungry. You will burn lots of calories on these trails.

2.  Wear comfortable shoes. If you have hiking boots that would be preferred. However, if you have not committed to buying hiking shoes, wear comfortable tennis shoes.

3. Check the weather for the day and dress appropriately. When you are hiking in different seasons, you will need to be prepared for whatever the weather may be for that season. In colder seasons, you will want to wear layers so you can be warm when you start and remove clothing as necessary. When hiking in warmer weather, clothing that is breathable is best so once you start heating up from your body heat and the temperature, you have a better regulation of that heat with your clothing.

4. Bring a small to medium size back pack. This is to carry any personal items; cell phone, water, snacks, personal medication, and any other items you may need.

5. Always bring a at least 1L of water. Bring more water in the warmer months. Make sure you have hydrated the day before, and the day of the hike.

6. Remember, there are no bathrooms in nature, so stay hydrated but make sure you are good to hike without needing a bathroom. If you do need to use the bathroom, nature will be your stall.

6. Suggested: Download the AllTrails app. That will help you get familiar with the trail and you can see in real time where we are on the trail.
