Join us for a beautiful fall weekend in one of the most visited mountain ranges in the Catskills, NY. This awesome 2 day/ 2 nights camping adventure in Hunter, NY will be one you do not want to miss. Come ready to explore, relax, and enjoy the gentle energy. This trip is for those who enjoy camping, love socializing with great people, and the remote feel of the mountatins.
*Double and Triple Registration cost is Per Person.
Itinerary specifics will be provided for those who register.
"North-South Lake is the biggest and most popular state campground in the Catskill Forest Preserve, offering extraordinary scenic beauty. Several lakes are located within the campground. The surrounding mountains contain numerous hiking trails, which lead to spectacular overlooks, waterfalls, and historic sights, like Alligator Rock, Kaaterskill Falls, and the former site of the Catskill Mountain House. On a clear day, five states are visible from some overlooks."
Participants will need to bring:
Tent -There are limited tents available for rent. If all tents are rented, participants will be responsible for bringing their own tent.
Sleeping Bag
Sleeping Mat (optional)
Food for the weekend - Suggested foods are dehydrated food packs and/or items that don't need much refrigeration
Kooler if bringing food that needs to be kept cold
Hiking items- Hiking boots, hiking clothes, hiking back pack
Headlamp
Portable phone charger (optional)
You will have access to your car if you want to pack more items and pull from it as needed.
** Because we are camping in the Fall, expect that the weather overnight will be pretty cold. Please make sure you have adequate warm items to make it through the night.**
Recreational drug use in not permitted on this activity
Responsible alcohol consumption is permitted during down times. You may not attend hikes, swimming, biking, or any other activity that can cause harm under the influence of alcohol.
Do not register unless you are sure you can attend. There will be no refunds provided.
